.....might be a serious consideration. if it performs close to the sa-1 you have a great sacd player, excellent redbook cd, and no loading delays; worth checking out. if...and that is a big if, it is close to the marantz sa-1. it looks the same, from it's specs it weighs about 13 pounds less. whether it's circuts are the same, who knows. a few months back i think jonathan carr mentioned it sounded better than the sa-1. if that is true it will be the no-brainer $2k to $3k digital front-end to have IMHO.mikel
