This is an Asynchronous Sample Rate Converter with the huge limitation of only doing 96/24. Having used it, it's benefits are really best with Redbook like sample rates. At higher sample rates it doesn't seem to add much.

I haven't heard every one, but Schiit has a unique "closed form" ASRC built into some of their converters. Mytek also has a more flexible ASRC in their pro lineup for around the same price. I like both brands a great deal.

Several other DAC makers also offer this upsampling/de-jitter like feature built in.
