I seem to recall that John Atkinson once used this disc when reviewing CD players/transports. It has a series of tests for error correction with which I particularly associate the disc. Perhaps he still uses it.
I don't think that he posts here but you could try paging him on Critics to see if he can provide instructions or other guidance on its use.
