Your son can't be that old. Being from the iTunes generation (just my guess), does he know what a CD is? ;-)

As Lummy already mentioned, the GCD-700 can be a fun one. I used to load mine up with 5 discs and run it on "random play" while I worked. My computer does that for me these days.

[EDIT]: Be sure there are no discs inside the GCD-700 if you plan to move it from one location to another. I learned the hard way. The discs fell out of the carousel and slid around inside the CDP. I had to open the cover to retrieve the CDs.
