I may have led you to misunderstand. I do not have a Marantz DAC. I have read that Mac OS 10.11 "El Capitan" has had some reported issues with USB audio in general, with various DACs. I tried my wife's MacBook Pro running "El Capitan" with my PS Audio DAC and found no problems.
