Thanks for the additional info. Since my wife has the latest Mac OS 10.11.x "El Capitan" on her MacBook Pro 13", I might try it with my DAC just to see if there are any issues. My main setup is still on Mac OS 10.8.5 and it has been very stable with no USB audio problems.
