hi all,
i found a Toshiba SD-9200 DVD-A player at a swap meet for $40 this past weekend. couldn't pass it up. what a beast of a machine! so far, the transport is dead quiet (known issue with dampeners).
anyway, is there a way to circumvent the "auto shut-off" feature which turns the machine off after 20 minutes of non-use? that has to be one of the dumbest things i've ever seen in a high-end piece of digital gear. don't they know we audio folks like to keep our digital gear on 24/7?
