I think you need to fix the issue inside. A mat of some kind could worsen things. You need to open it up and see whats going on. And Ive tried a few different mats and even tbough I always took time to properly affix it and they improved the sound a couple or three times I had to take the top off the CDP to unjam it from the mat coming off. With your situation it could be even worse.ET
