... consider sending your Oppo to Dan Wright (Modwright) for his tube and other mods and separate tubed power supply. Costs twice as much as the Oppo itself and is worth every penny. Certainly ended my search for a player that sounds fantastic (to me) on CDs and, for the first time ever*, fulfills the promise of SACD.
* That's IMHO, of course, after owning my share of "A-Plus* universal players.
