That is a good cable. I would suggest that beppe61 use that one, or glass at least. I find that plastic generally sounds a bit "dull" to me, maybe that could be used to advantage though in some cases.
That said, I do not prefer Toslink *with my gear*, but I don't mind it. And to be fair, the Toslink interface at some of my sources is not the greatest, kind of an afterthought I think. I typically only use Toslink when forced to then, here, like with my TVs where that's the only digital output.
