I would also agree that used is perhaps not the way to go, I've had excellent luck with a Yamaha CD-S1000 which also has SACD capability on the analogue outs, it has digital outs as well and it has a transport that murders anything I've seen.new can be found for $1300. I know $300 is a hell of a lot more to pay than you are willing to pay but this frigging thing is built like a tank.
