Thanks to all!I am just a CD & LP spinnin' PC audio newbie. Hearing about these types of intricacies from people "in the know" is very enlightening (for me at least).
So it would seem that the Tascam model demands a certain kind of commitment on the part of the user. This is not necessarily bad news for me, although it might be bad news for the more seasoned computer geeks amongst us.
I'll be sure to report back if I buy one of these from Decware and actually figure out how to use it...
