That 'monitor' is simply an iPad on a stand. It's a couple generations old but does the job. I'm not using it as a full fledged monitor. I use the FREE Remote App from the App Store on the iPad to control music playback on the Mac Mini music server. I normally have the iPad at my side to control music playback from across the room.
