RE: Problem with vintage CD player

There could be a dip in voltage which is causing the player to turn off the power. It could be something simple as cold soldering in the power supply section or something causing a short circuit or a component overheating. The best way to fix it is to first download a service manual and find an experienced technician. Below is a link to a Revox B226 service manual in German.
