RE: why no ripple spec on Sabre ES9012/ES9018 data sheet?

While I don't have a copy of the ESS datasheet, I would guess that they simply don't deem the digital filter's in-band frequency domain ripple spec. to be of consequence. This would be understandable, given the typically extremely small magnitude of such ripple. That said, I do note that a small number of DAC designers feel that the in-band ripple is indicative a some audible processing error phenomena.
