What computer are you going to be interfacing the A/D with? If you are intending to use a PC, I would recommend using an ASIO compatible program to bypass the Windows drivers and ensure a "bit-perfect" transfer. Soundforge Audio Studio is the lowest cost software I know of that is ASIO compatible (unless you choose to recompile Audacity yourself). It is something like USD60 last time I checked. You can ASIO4All (the ASIO driver) which is free.
