RE: Is there a simple digital audio buffer to slow down the signal?


Audio / Video sync is often handled by your AV processor but it appears you have two completely separate paths so that's probably a bigger challenge.

I should also mention that some 2-ch DACs introduce their own sync problems.

When I had my W4S DAC2 I could never get the audio and video in sync. This obviously doesn't present a problem when listening to music but if I wanted to watch a concert DVD or play a music video it was impossible. My other 2 channel DACs do not do this.

I suspect some of the delay in this case may have to do with buffer memory within the DAC itself.
