Found a few posts about this commercial DVD player while looking for a new transport. Picked one up on the bay for 40bucks. It arrived yesterday and sounded like poop. In fact it wouldn't even play the first few tries. Was ready to start return. Came back an hour later and tried one last time. It played. Not well though. Let it warm up over night on repeat. Been listening for a couple hours today. Sounds at least as good or better than my oppo 93 fed into audio lab 8200 dac. Huge soundstage, great depth, very musical. Stupidly good for 40 bucks. I know this post is at least 5 years too late but I still spin discs.
