The Artisan Silver Stream is , by some margin, the best USB cable I have heard.

In regard to Alan's comment in this thread about AQ Carbon USB I agree that it is a good cable. I have it here. the Artisan replaced it in my system. Once burned in the Artisan is not just an incremental improvement over the AQ but seems to relate to a different and higher league of performance altoghter.

Downsides? Far more expensive than the AQ Carbon (but great value in material terms) and it really does require burn in for the time stated in the instructions - 48 hours of real use. Long lengths (over 1M) are not technically feasible to manufacture. In addition as they are custom made to order you don't have a dealer who you can borrow one from to try (who does these days?). 30 day money back guarantee however. They are also a great company to deal with, in the person of Alister. Oh, the endorsements on their website are genuine.
