No, haven't heard one

I'm not sure that a discrete R-2R dac using .01% tolerance (at best) SMD ceramic resistors, circuit copper, fiberglass substrate, and modern day solder alloy, really gets you anything better than an integrated R-2R dac chip with silicon substrate resistors laser-trimmed to tolerances better than .001%. You certainly can't match the accuracy, especially over temperature. But like I said, I haven't heard it.

I do have a nice DAC using PCM1704/DF1704 in slow filter mode, L-C supplies feeding shunt regulators, no electrolytic capacitors, extremely low jitter, all the good stuff, so I'm kinda happy even though it's old. Still, it probably would be fun to play with one of these :)
