The Master 7 is a totally different dac from the Hex. I've just listened to some classical music streamed from Tidal and I have never heard any dac lay out a real symphony orchestra with natural dynamics.
I automatically hooked up the Jitterbug and Regen to the Master 7. Once the Master 7 fully breaks in I may pull out these two devices to see the effect. They definitely improved the sence of reality on the Hex.
The Hex is a great dac. The master 7 is shocking. If you have been in a recording studio control room and heard the live feed off the console that sound is what the Master 7 is producing. For some people they may not like this presentation but I love it. Twoo many years in the studio to forget that sound
