I used to have a little device...

You'd spray some magic sauce on the CD, pop the lid, drop in the CD, close the lid and then turn the hand crank. It worked a treat for mildly damaged discs, every one I "repaired" played perfectly.

Don't remember the name but it was about $20 or so...
