Hi and sorry for the late reply.
Thanks a lot for the very interesting information that confirms my experience.
So it seems that in some TVs the internal conversion is of good quality.
It would be interesting to see some measurements also from the analog outs ... maybe there would be surprises.
I normally use HPs because i like watching tv late in the night.
I am impressed by the ambient noises ... they stand out quite clearly.
Instead dialogues sometimes are not that good ... i do not know if the problem is the tv or the actual recording.
