This is just the normal way of running a single ESS DAC....they have 8 DACs inside.....you can run it as an 8 channel DAC or parallel 4 DACs per channel.....this is what everyone does.
Now you want to see more DACS per channel, do you?.....well check out the Lumin S1 server/DAC. It uses two ESS 8 channel DACS per channel so you get 16 DACs in parallel per channel....now this is serious.
