I,too, have been thinking about picking up one these spinners as well.
How do you like the SACD playback?

And yes, these Sony ES players really benefit from excellent to outstanding cables/power cords. In a previous system, I had a $500 IC from the pre-amp to the cd player, an old Sony 520 ES II model, that I bought for $20.00 -
