Radio Shack has a DAC with both Optical and Coax inputs and RCA outputs. Good enough for most purposes - if not critical listening, and it fits the size requirements. With Radio Shack's shaky situation you may be able to pick it up for less than $20 - it was originally $40. It is Model: DA-710, Catalog #: 1500093.
