Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Over the ear better for sound

I used a couple of in-ear ones for years, but never tried customer ear molds. Over the ear is much better sound and comfort for less money. I use the HFI-580

I use a player similar to this: Sony - NWZ-E380 Series Walkman 16GB* Video MP3 Player - Black. It's good enough for several hours.
The AK100 is much better:

I would guess that this would be my favorite sound, but I have not heard one: http://www.tera-player.com/

I just came across this brand:

BTW, $75 for this "like new" headphone that G Squared uses: http://www.musicdirect.com/p-318402-sennheiser-momentum-on-ear-headphones-ivory-like-new.aspx?utm_source=googlepepla&utm_medium=adwords&id=109836004130&gclid=CNqk0NmT5cUCFVYSHwodfGgAEQ
