Thanks for the update, Panhead. And for the nice picture, although from what you said, it doesn't sound like the entire system is shown in the picture.
Obviously, the system, room, and perhaps the music were unfamiliar to you, but can you elaborate on what wonder you heard? Wonderful, though quite a positive term, can be very subjective.
For example, wonderful compared to what? Compared to vinyl, Redbook, SACD, or some other format? Wonderful compared to the best SOTA-level systems you heard at the show or elsewhere?
Was it just a bit more detailed and musical than anything you've heard? Or was it far and away the most musical presentation you've ever heard or may ever hear from a playback system?
Was it wonderful enough that without hesitation you felt as though you were transported to the recording hall? If so, has any other system ever given you that same perception?
