Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

No, But...

...I'm currently reviewing the Simaudio Moon 100D. Just go to my homepage.

Recently discontinued, the Moon 100D can be had for under $300. As long as you don't need balanced XLR analog outputs, this is a competent product. If you have a stiff digital cable, it may yank the lightweight Moon 100D off of the shelf. So place a small weight on top of the Moon 100D. And watch out for the Moon 100D's eye-piercingly bright LEDs.

Sonically, the Moon 100D is self-effacingly neutral. It'll tell you, in general terms, about your powerline conditioners, transports, digital cables, and line-level interconnects.

If you want more inner detail, 3D scaling of imaging, you'll have to spend more.
