Well said. I totally agree. The Gungnir was a little more detailed than my Octave, but the difference in fatigue was the difference between wanting to turn off the music vs wanting to listen to a whole CD.
I wonder whether they overcame the issues that I had w/ the Gungnir.
I was also thinking lately of what you had said, that it's difficult to make vinyl fatiguing.
In fact, I've realized lately that this is the test for a system:
do you want to listen to an entire album or not, when playing music.
