Until the early 2000s, - vinyl EQ settings were used to press metal and glass CD masters.
Now, - people also master to build .MP3 files.
SACD discs, will always be around as labors of love. Yet, - they will be largely unattainable. So the value of purchasing an SACD player, - (that doesn't also excel as a redbook player), - is really low.
