RE: CD Recorder Died - Best Replacement Option?

If you absolutely have to have a CD recorder, the TASCAM is probably the best bang-for-the-buck. It would also be best to buy a new one so you don't run into the same problem you are having now. The other option is to download Exact Audio Copy (EAC) from the internet and copy your CDs to your computer. You can burn CD-R copies from your computer, too. I load the files onto USB flash drives for playback in my Oppo BDP-105D, but you can burn CD-Rs if you absolutely have to.
