Use your Mac's Disk Utility to partition/format the SSD using the MS-DOS (FAT) filesystem and see if the Oppo will recognize it. The Mac will be able to read and write to it.Or with a bit more effort you can make your Mac able to Write to a NTFS filesystem. Link below. However, I would try using MS-DOS FAT first as described above and shown in the screen shot example below.
