Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

RE: Is there such thing as (digital) source selection and volume control in the digital domain?

I have a NAD M51 and it's digital volume is one of the best I've ever used. NAD claims truncation is only done below -66dB. My current preamp is analog without remote so the NAD's remote volume and HDMI inputs were a big factor in choosing it. It sounded great and I could not tell any difference between fixed and variable output.
