SPDIF to USB converters are rare, very rare.
Although they do exist I doubt if this will drive the iFi as they expect a USB host and the iFi is very likely a client.
As the iFi has Toslink in and the Note probably SPDIF (coax) out, you can try a SPDIF to Toslink converter.
As you are on OSX you might have a look at Airplay/Airport Express
