It will work but IMO does not offer an upgrade to the sound. I used the V-PSU with my original V-dac and it was a big improvement, not so much with the V-90. In fact I thought I was missing something with this combo and ended up going back to the wall-wart. I have left it that way since and feel it sounds way better than the original with the PSU. But since you have both, you might as well experiment and go with what sounds best to you. The V-90 no matter is a nice dac and I have been very happy with it!
