Wyred DAC-1 LE (Limited Edition)

The more I look at this thing the more I'm convinced that it *is* the DAC-2 DSD! Maybe minus a AES/EBU connector and/or other, but besides that how is any different than a DAC-2 DSD?

The USB seems fully upgraded, "Asynchronous USB input supports up to 32-bit 384kHz PCM and DSD64 + DSD128"

Output stage: "Add to that our proprietary discrete output stages"

Add femto clock for $125! same as adding femto to a DAC-2. (probably uses DAC-2 motherboard)

No Remote and no "capability to use one". Does DAC-2 have a remote?

Automatic oversampling ... same in DAC-2 or configurable?

Maybe different PS caps?

Still it seems a lot like a DAC-2 DSD. What do you think?
