I was getting skipping and sometimes a "No Disc" display after loading. I had tried a Discwasher CD cleaner but it didn't work. So I checked on google how to clean the laser lens. I took the cover off and very gently cleaned the lens with q-tips and isopropyl alcohol, and lightly greased the rail the laser rides on. Put it all back again and it plays flawlessly! Absolutely no skips, no error messages. I was thinking I was going have to ship it back to Muse and wait 2 to 3 weeks to have it repaired. This was really easy and very satisfying to do myself, not to mention no down time waiting for the unit to be repaired and returned, and the cost of service, shipping, and insurance.
If you have a CD player or transport that is skipping and not playing correctly look on line on how to do this.
