Almost all of my music library consists of 16/44 FLAC files that I stream through a Sonos system. I was thinking about adding a DAC and was wondering if I should be looking for a reference DAC that might be 5-10 years old (Meridian, Audio Research) vs. a newer DAC that can handle more high rez data - which I don't need...where will I get better value up to $1k?
