Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

It needs 6-9 VDC ~400 mA

According to the forum threads, its power requirement will be 6-9 VDC ~400 mA, which is not very hard to provide, even with small batteries.

A super-duper linear PS may sound as good/better, but the cost will be high. I personally prefer batteries when digital/USB is involved, and a simple DIY battery PS can be rigged up by putting two 3.7V rechargeable Li-ion batteries in series (7.4V) or by putting a bunch of 9V Li-ion rechargeables in parallel (will last longer).

I currently have such battery setup powering a USB card, which sounds an order of magnitude better than without.

If one wanted a commercial battery supply, there are several places one could look, albeit at much higher prices.
