RE: This is quite odd

I sure don't know anyone else making a DAC with an analog input that bypasses the d/a conversion and even turns it off internally when chosen. I also don't know of another company making what they refer to as a transport that has d/a conversion too and analog outs. The fact that these two components are made by the same firm is the whipped cream and cherry.

I understand why and don't disagree with their philosophy but it is odd and weird which both mean unusual.
