It would be interesting to try this on my DAC 83, just for that purpose (I2S) alone. But there's no streaming, and I've not come across any decent and affordable HDMI to Ethernet cables yet (my DAC gets its I2S via a RJ45 connection).

CDs from my LT-1 transport via I2S to the 83 are quite a treat. Hi-res is all very well - but how about a product and service that allows me to reliably, affordably stream CD-quality music directly into my current DAC via I2S, without all this additional hi-res kerfuffle?
