When I was marathon 'ripping' my CD collection dozens at a time to the computer, I would toss several aside and decide they weren't that great and didn't need to be on the computer.
I would later hear a few tunes on streaming services like Spotify that I recognized and liked. I would swear that I own that album/tune but for the life of me can't find it on the computer!
Well, some of those great CDs were tossed aside and never 'ripped' to the music server computer. They're packed away in boxes down in the basement and it's too much hassle to go find them. So.... I end up buying the CD again on Amazon and wait for it to show up in the mail!
