Wham's The Final on K2 HD CD

28 years and counting, I'm still miffed that George Michael pulled the plug on Wham, never to regroup.

For years, we Americans have had to suffer through Columbia's CDs, cassettes, and vinyl. So I've had to enjoy Wham's music on the compilation CD, The Final [pictured on the left], which was issued by Sony Music U.K.

Well, well, well. Sony Music Hong Kong has now made The Final available on K2 HD CD [pictured on the right]. As the name suggests, it's made in Japan utilizing JVC's K2 process. I've never heard Wham sound better. This K2 HD CD proves that Wham's original recordings are more open, liquid, stable, clean, and transparent, than the world has ever known or even suspected. And you don't need high-end audio CD transports or players to hear this sound quality. It sounds great even in my ratty-sounding car stereo.

Alas, these are supposedly made in small quantities. Mine has a serial number of 0898. So act quickly.

My friends, classmates, and family have always liked Wham. But now, with this superior sound quality via K2 HD CD, Tessa sings "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" and "The Edge Of Heaven" with even more verve and sass, respectively. Aiden sounds more hurt, when he sings "Everything She Wants." And upon hearing "Freedom," KJ bellows, "It's still candy-ass!!!"
