made by the guy running the video. He made the mistake in a later video in Paris calling them $250,000. The speakers are around $50k.Which is still a lot but there are plenty of speakers at $50k. They do sell $208k speakers use External crossovers where the speaker wires are hardwired into the speaker - the speaker cables are 99.99% Silver Litz and the external crossovers are the size of an amplifier.
--The picture above is less expensive using copper caps and is physically smaller external caps.

The pricey speakers use the external crossovers instead of internal and with 99 strand silver wires and $5000 capacitors the prices go way up.
But All of that is meaningless. Audio Note sells something like 20 versions of this speaker - The Basic AN E is $2800 you can buy as a KIT and build it yourself. The entry production model is called the E/LX and is very good for around $6,500. 100% 13 ply No Void Russian Birch with SEAS Hemp woofers and there is no speaker that I have heard for $6,500 that sounds better and most speakers use cheap ass MDF or HDF.
I am planning to buy a $22,000ish version of this speaker called the AN E/Spx HE Alnico and if over the last 25 years I had heard a speaker for $25,000 or less that sounded as good I would consider them. I have not. I have heard several I like a lot though.
This speaker also won product of the year from the pearl of the orient in the hi-fi press which is kind of funny since they were designed in 1940 by L.L. Beranek. http://www.audionote.co.uk/news/news_home_01.shtml
