Hi!
I started a huge upgrade in my Emotiva ERC-3 cd player.
First, I changed all capacitors in the PSU section.

The original caps where very bad and now the psu is all populated with Cerafine, Sismic II and Fine Gold. Ths sound improved a lot, really.
Now I want to change the caps of the digital board.

I thought about Sismic II - the values I want are very easy to find. After thinking a litle bit more I decided to go for the OS Con caps.
The values I want are :
25V - 10uf - seven
25V - 100uf - seven
16V - 47uf - six
16V - 220uf - one
16v - 470uf - one
May be I can only find one or two of these values, but I also know that I can use other values. For example, "Lampizator Man" says about 10V - 220uf oscon:
" Can substitute caps from the range of 10 uF till 470 uF (that is - as I said - for power supply lines. Os-Con is so good, that it can be downsized and still willl upgrade the operating condition of a given device - thats why I say - 220uF does the good job for 470 uF )."
Well, I want oscons to digital board...
Can someone give me an idea about the caps I could use from Oscon to replace the most difficult to find here?
(So far I found 25V-10uf).
OR... if you find other values available, can you send me links?
Anu ideas or suggestions are most wellcome.
I really thank you!
Next is to change the 3 voltage regulators in the psu, then the clock with it's own psu, then it's time to lampizate it.
You must stop sometimes, hear some music and forget evetything.
