I wanted to provide a little more info on this situation. I purchased this unit in December 2013. It was used, I think approx. a year and a half old. It worked perfectly for the first 3 months. Then one day I put a disc in and with in a few minutes the music started to fade away to silence. At first I could turn it off, let it sit and turn it back on and it would work again. But as the days went by it got to the point this no longer worked. In powering it up everything sounds like it is working. Just no sound. I contacted the vendor. He reaffirmed his 1 year warrenty. So I sent it back to him. He worked on it for 2 weeks and found a solder near the fuse connection that was faulty. He fixed it and sent it back. The CDP worked for about 10 days and the problem reappeared. I contacted this well known vendor about the problem. In 3 weeks I have not received any response. I guess I really don't have a warrenty.
Thanks
Randy
