If you do decide to get the Sony (HAP-Z1ES) you really would have very little (if any) to
get a "software" player for your Computer.
99% of all the music I listen to is processed or generated through my Computer, 0% of it is
played back through my Computer. I use an Auraliti PK100 Digital File Player to play the files from external USB drives or a USB thumbdrive occasionally .
I look at my Computer as great peripheral "tool" to generate the music to play through
my "Audio" system . I'm just not that interested in making my Computer the "hub" of my
system, I don't see the necessity to change what works for me.
