Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

RE: Anyone heard the Micromega MyDac?

I have this DAC. I'm still evaluating it as I just received it two days ago. Previously I've had the Audioquest Dragonfly and the Audioengine D2 wireless system. I've kept the Dragonfly and I can add nothing to what's already is/has been written about this DAC. The D2 is great for being wireless and 24/96 capable but it was too warm and soft for me. So far the MyDac is settling in very nicely. I'm using it in my desktop rig but I think it would be at home in a nice mid range stereo system also. Good lows, silent backgrounds, nice decays and a very listenable sound that I have yet to be fatigued by with about three listening sessions of about three hours each into the DAC. It is an ABS outer shell but the build quality is quite nice.
