Some Dac*It users have spoken very highly of a LINEAR PSU that is available on ebay, and I may order that later. However, the PSU that I own is a REGULATED PSU.

What is the difference between LINEAR and REGULATED PSUs, and if LINEAR is better, why? Just curious, what type of PSU is a stock wall-wart?

FYI: Below link is for a PSU that is almost identical to mine except for the manufacturer's branding.
